What we hold this site to, and what we hold our work to.
This statement covers zdevit.com and the standard we apply to anything we build for the public web. It describes the current state honestly, including the parts we know are imperfect.
This site
This site is built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and checked against it. Every control is a real link or button, reachable by keyboard in a logical order, with a visible focus ring. Headings are nested in order, and every page declares its language.
Contrast is measured, not guessed. Every text colour on the site is checked against the background behind it, at the threshold its size and weight require. The check caught one failure in the approved design: a button hover that put light text on bright red at 3.2:1. That hover now uses dark text, at 5.5:1.
The site moves: a network animation on the home page, drawing animations, and Mono, our robot. You can stop all of it with the Pause motion button in the home page hero and in every footer, and the site remembers your choice. If your device asks for reduced motion, nothing moves at all.
Known limitations
- The case studies are long and text-heavy by choice. We have not shortened them for readability scores.
- The live clocks and the small drawings next to our facts are hidden from screen readers. The text beside each one says the same thing in words.
- This site has not been audited by a third party. Everything above is our own testing: an automated contrast check, a keyboard pass over every page, and a check that each control has an accessible name. That is a real standard, but it is not an independent one.
The standard we build to
Anything we build for the public web is delivered to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This is not an upgrade we sell. The European Accessibility Act has applied to services sold to EU consumers since June 2025, so if you sell into the EU it is a compliance question with a deadline behind it.
In practice that means real controls instead of styled boxes, keyboard use designed in from the start, contrast checked as part of the design system, and accessible names on everything interactive. We treat an accessibility defect as a defect, not as an enhancement request.
If something here does not work for you
Tell us and we will fix it. Email djordje@zdevit.com with the page and what happened, including the assistive technology or browser you used, if you know it. We aim to reply within two working days, and to fix confirmed barriers rather than explain them.
