Services

Six kinds of work, one root.

AI, web, mobile, hardware, ops and maintenance. The same engineers carry a project from the first line of code to the years of running it.

AI: AI that does a job, not a demo.

We put AI where it removes manual work and where its output can be checked: reading order pages into shipments, splitting articles into licensed pieces, and testing forecasts before anyone acts on them.

Web: Sites and platforms your team can run.

Public sites, back offices and platforms that serve many businesses at once. We build them so the people who use them every day (editors, staff, merchants) can do their job without calling a developer.

Mobile: Apps that work in the aisle and at the door.

We build member apps, staff apps and handheld tills that keep working when the network drops, and that open a door or take a payment with one tap.

Hardware: Software on the device in your hand.

Software for payment terminals and handhelds, where a crash means a lost sale. We build for the device’s limits, its own payment app and the ways it can fail, so it keeps selling when something goes wrong.

Ops: Systems that stay up when the systems behind them slow down.

We build the integrations, queues and caches between your product and the slow systems it depends on, such as finance systems, carriers and marketplaces. Your customers stay fast when those systems do not.

Maintenance: Old systems, moved or made safe.

We take over code whose authors have left, move it off old core systems without stopping the business, and close security holes in order of risk.

Engagements

Five ways to work with us.

An assessment comes first on anything undocumented.

  1. 01Start here

    Platform assessment

    Two weeks, fixed price

You getA written architecture report and costed options

Start with a call (opens in a new tab)
  2. 02

    Project

    Fixed scope, after the assessment

    You getThe system

  3. 03

    Maintenance retainer

Monthly, a team of three to ten people, with response-time bands

You getA named engineer and response times agreed in writing

  4. 04

    Team extension

    Monthly, per engineer

    You getEngineers inside your team

  5. 05

    Security audit

    Fixed price

You getFindings in order of risk, and a plan to fix them

Questions

What people ask before a call.

Can an old system be moved without downtime?

Usually, yes. The old and new systems run side by side, and traffic moves one workflow at a time, so there is no single moment when everything switches. We moved Shiptimize’s shop integrations off an old Perl core this way, and merchants kept printing labels throughout.

How long does a rebuild take?

The assessment takes two weeks and gives you a costed plan. Delivery depends on how many workflows the system carries. The plan lists them one by one, so the timeline is built from parts you can see, not one number.

Why not a fixed price straight away?

On an undocumented system, a fixed price quoted before reading the code is either padded to cover the unknowns, or wrong. The assessment removes the unknowns first, and its output is yours whether or not you continue with us.

Who owns the code?

You do, from the first commit. The work happens in your repositories under your accounts. There is no licence-back and no component you would have to keep paying for.

What happens to our own team?

They stay, and they end up owning the result. Our engineers work inside your process, review with your developers, and write the documentation as the work happens, so the handover is not an event at the end.
